Please note that Koondrook Glamping Retreat operates on a self-check-in basis and is unmanned. Should you require assistance during your stay, here are the key points to keep in mind:

On the day of your arrival you will receive a Text message with the code for your Key Box and the Tent number that has been allocated to you.

  • Emergency Services: In case of an emergency, please dial 000 for police, fire, or ambulance.
  • On-Site Issues: For urgent maintenance or concerns, please contact our support team at 03 54525656.
  • Local Medical Assistance: The nearest medical facility is located at , Quantum Medical Centre Barham, Suite 3/Barham Plaza, Shop 5/9 Mellool St, Barham NSW 2732 approximately 5km away.
  • Fire Safety: In the event of a Code Red Fire Declaration Day, made by the CFA and State Fire Authorities, you will be asked to leave the Retreat if it is safe to do so.
  • In the event of Fire or other emergency you will be contacted and asked to assemble on the emergency evacuation area (car park) or at one of the sites detailed below.

1. EVACUATION PROCEDURES

1.1   Neighbourhood Safer Place

The nearest Neighbourhood Safer Place (NSP) is located at Koondrook Football Oval Penglase Street (opp. Reserve Street) Koondrook 3580 Victoria. A travel distance from the entry gate of 1 Tramway Place Koondrook to Koondrook Football Oval of 1.2 km and 3 minutes travel by motor vehicle under normal road traffic conditions.

1.2   Shelter in Place & Place of Last Resort

There is good access and egress available from the site. The most suitable location to shelter in place and place of last resort is the Koondrook Football Oval. The Glamping Tents Compound is not suitable to shelter in place or a place of last resort.

1.3   Planned Evacuation Site Suggested Location
